Hunar Haat proved to be effective mission to provide market and opportunities to artisans,craftsmen: Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said Hunar Haat has proved to be an effective mission to provide market and opportunities to artisans and craftsmen from across the country. <br/><br/>In a statement, Mr Naqvi said during the last one year, Hunar Haat have been successful in providing employment and employment opportunities to more than 3 lakh artisans. <br/><br/>Hunar Haat which is being oranised by the Ministry of Minority Affairs under USTTAD scheme in different parts of the country, have become a credible brand to fulfil the commitment to Make In India, Stand Up India and Start Up India. He said that 5 Hunar Haat have been organised at International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan and Baba Kharak Singh Marg in New Delhi, Puducherry and Mumbai.<br/><br/>The visitors purchased the handmade products made by these artisans on a large scale. The Minister said, the 6th Hunar Haat" will be organised in New Delhi in February and it will also be organised at Jaipur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Lucknow, Bhopal and other places in coming days. He said, the government is also working to establish Hunar Hub in all states of the country where artisans will be provided training, as per present requirement.
