Chairman of National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, H L Dattu has said, National and State Human Rights Commissions need to work in synergy to promote, propagate and protect the human rights of the people particularly the vulnerable section of the society. He said, bottlenecks and challenges in the path to safeguard human rights should be identified and effective solutions must be sought upon this.<br />'' Mr. Dattu said this while delivering the inaugural address at an annual meeting of human rights commissions in New Delhi today. He said these commissions are uniquely placed in upholding the democratic values of freedom and respect of Human Rights and are prominent actors in promoting the effective implementation of the international human rights standards.<br />'' <br />'' The NHRC Chairman called upon State Human Rights Commissions to join NHRC's integrated online complaint file system, which is a common service portal of government of India, to avoid duplication of complaint registration on the same issue. AIR correspondent reports that the annual meeting of NHRC and State Human Rights Commission, SHRC 2020 aims at exploring new areas of coordination between them.&nbsp;<br />
