Human rights activist couple granted life imprisonment

A lower court in Allahabad has convicted human rights activists couple for life imprisonment for their involvement into anti-national activities.AIR Allahabad correspondent reports that Seema Azad and her husband Vishwa Vijay were arrested in the year of 2010 for their alleged involvement in Naxal and anti-national activities. Police had claimed that objectionable literature were also seized from them in large quantity. The Allahabad High Court had also rejected the bail pleas of both People`s Union of Civil Liberties PUCL workers.
