In Jharkhand, the Ranchi Police and the 133 battalion of CRPF have recovered huge amount of arms and explosives of the Maoists in a search and combing operation in the Damajag and Moda jungles of Bundu and Bhusudih of Tamar in Ranchi district. The operation was led by ASP Apurva and the Assistant Commandant of the CRPF R S Yadav. Speaking to reporters, the SSP of Ranchi Praveen Kumar said that acting on a tip off, the police and security forces conducted the operation in which five powerful IED bombs, 67 double- detonator boosters besides other arms and ammunition like rifles, bullets, wireless sets, were seized. There was, however, no arrest made during the operation.
