The government is taking measures to achieve greater productivity in the food processing sector.Speaking at the Indo-Taiwan meeting on the food processing sector in New Delhi today, the Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Subodh Kant Sahai said that India has vast potential to offer huge opportunities to countries like Taiwan. While praising Taiwan as the technological super power, the Minister said that about 60 to 70 percent of the total Indian market is on offer in the food processing sector and the opportunities in India can be utilised to the benefit of both the countries.
