Haryana Finance Minister Harmohinder Singh Chatha and two other Sikh leaders Jagdish Singh Jhinda and Didar Singh Nalwi have been excommunicated from Sikh Panth by the Akal Takht (Highest Sikh Temporal Seat). The decision was taken in the meeting of five Sikh clergy today.
AIR correspondent reports that these Sikh leaders were excommunicated on charges of defying the directive of the Akal Takht and forming the Haryana Sikh Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC).
