Union Human Resource Development ministry has decided to push for a major recruitment drive for permanent faculty in leading educational institutions including Delhi University. <br/><br/>This was stated by HRD minister Prakash Javadekar in New Delhi yesterday. He said the decision to push for recruitment drive has been taken in view of the large number of adhoc teachers in these institutions. <br/><br/>Mr Javadekar said the government has decided to end all this adhocism. There have to be permanent posts, for which the ad-hoc teachers can also apply, the minister said. He also made it clear that institutions should not have a huge proportion of ad-hoc teachers.<br/>
