Human Resources Development Ministry has asked all central universities to fly the national flag at a high mast at a prominent place on their campuses. <br/><br/>Sources said a decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of Vice-Chancellors at Surajkund on the outskirts of Delhi. <br/><br/>Sources said that the move has been taken to instill a sense of unity and integrity among students in institutions of higher education. <br/><br/>The meeting of Vice-Chancellors was called by the Ministry in the backdrop of death of a Dalit scholar in Hyderabad University. The decision is also being seen in the backdrop of JNU row.
