<span style="color: black;">In Himachal Pradesh, Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Union Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre and Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur laid the foundation stone of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Dhaula Kuan in Sirmour district through video conferencing today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">The first phase of this Institute would be completed by spending an amount of 392.51 crore rupees.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">Speaking on the occasion, Mr Nishank said, Union Government would provide all possible help to ensure that the institute emerges as the best institute of the region. He said, new courses offered by the institute would open new horizons to the students.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">He said that the Tourism, Power, Industries and eco-tourism are the natural potential of the State which need effective management and this institute would prove a boon in this direction.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">Mr Nishank asserted that the new Education Policy would help India in regaining the old glory of 'Vishava Guru'.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">He said that the IIMs and IITs of our country are among the best educational institutions of the world.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, in 2014 Union Government had taken decision to establish seven new IIMs including IIM Sirmaur.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that MBA students are future corporate leaders, wealth creators and responsibility lies heavily on their shoulders to provide right direction to business and industry to make Aatm Nirbhar Bharat.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, education is the key to the task of Nation building.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">He further stated that the new Education Policy would ensure that students get quality education within the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur appreciated the efforts of the Management for designing the whole complex in traditional Himachali architecture.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">He said that on completion, this Institute would not only emerge as a premier educational institute, but also an added attraction for the tourists.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur said, the IIM was the biggest gift from the Union Government to the State in general and for the Sirmour district in particular.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">He thanked the Union Education Minister for the new Education Policy.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">He expressed hope that within the next ten years the IIM Sirmour would emerge as the premier institute of the country.</span>
