Human Resources Development Minster M.M. Pallam Raju has asked the industry to participate more vigorously with the government in skill development. Speaking at a conference in New Delhi today, Raju said industry has to contribute to achieve the target of skilling 50 crore youth by 2022. Communication and IT Minister Kapil Sibal suggested a tripartite partnership among HRD and IT ministries as well as the private sector to strengthen government's initiative to impart skills by developing specialised courses for different sectors.
