HPCL to set up 9 million metric tonne per annum capacity refinery in Punjab

State owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, HPCL will set up a nine Million Metric Tonne Per Annum capacity refinery at Bhatinda in Punjab through joint venture during the end of remaining period of the 11th Plan. This information was given in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today by the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Mr R.P.N Singh. He said that a six million Metric Tonne Per Annum capacity refinery has already been commissioned at Bina in Madhya Pradesh in the month of May this year
