In Himachal Pradesh, body of another boy student was recovered from near the Pandoh dam after resumption of search and rescue operation this morning, .

The student has been identified as Debaseesh Bose.Official sources confirmed to AIR correspondent that with this the total number of bodies recovered since yesterday has gone to five.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Army with 100 personnel are coordinating the search operation in River Beas at Mandi to find out the remaining missing 19 students and one tour operator.

The mishap occured on Sunday evening at Mandi. The students were clicking photographs standing on two big boulders near the bank of River Beas when suddenly water level rose giving no time to the students to escape. They belonged to Hyderabad based VNR Vigyan Jyoti Institute.

Four bodies which were recovered yesterday and 24 survivors were airlifted to Hyderabad, last evening.
