In Himachal Pradesh, the State Olympic Association is organizing State Olympic Games in Hamirpur town from 22nd to 25th June. In this regard Olympic Torch Run was flagged off by Governor Acharya Devvrat today morning from historic Ridge Maidan in Shimla. Hundreds of school children's from various government and private schools participated in this run. <br/><br/>The motto of this torch run is "Chal Himachal-Khel Himachal". This torch run will arrived in Hamirpur on 22nd June by covering different district of the state.<br/>Mr. Anurag Thakur, BJP MP and the President of State Olympic Association, said that the motive of the games is to integrate youth of this hill state with different sports activities. These games are being organised for the first time in the state.
