HP starts special bus service to aid Buddhist devotees arriving for Kal Chakra event

In Himachal Pradesh, the State Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) and Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) have started a special bus service between Delhi-Manali-Leh.

This service would benefit the Buddhist devotees going to take part in the 33rd historic Kal Chakra event that begins from today in Leh.

HRTC has added three new bus services every day to be ply on Manali-Leh route and vice versa in the morning, noon and evening. The buses would halt at Keylong and Jyspa for night stay.

Similarly the state tourism corporation has started alternative bus service from Delhi to Manali and Manali to Leh keeping in view the movement of Buddhist devotees.

The distance of 470 kilometer from Manali to Leh will be completed in two days.
