In Himachal Pradesh, BJP is leading in 21 constituencies, while Congress is leading in 35. Others are leading in 3 seats. Himachal Lok Manch in one constituency.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal of BJP was leading over his nearest Congress rival in Hamirpur by over 850 votes when reports last came in. In Mandi, Durga Dutt of BJP was leading over Congress candidates by a margin of 1500 votes.
Congress candidates are leading in Nadaun, Rohru, Sarkaghat and Una constituencies. BJP candidates were in the lead in Paonta Saheb and Seraj constituencies.
In Shimla Rural Constituency, Virbhadra Singh of Congress is leading over BJP candidate.
