In the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, the Session Court has released the eight Taiwanese citizens who were arrested under suspicious circumstances with expired tourist visa last week from a house at Chountara. The court in its ruling today sentenced them jail term for seven days and fine of 10 thousand rupees each for over-stay in the country. Since they had already completed seven days in police custody, all of them have been released.
