The results of Assembly elections in five states may however come handy for the ruling BJP to deflect the Congress attack. Chief Minister P K Dhumal would present the annual budget for 2012-13 on March 19 and there would be no recess for the house committees to scrutinise the budget proposals. According to Assembly Speaker Tulsi Ram, it would be passed after discussion. Our Shimla Correspondent reports that it would be the tenth budget of Chief Minister Dhumal who also holds the finance portfolio, and his fifth budget in a row. Being the election year, the budget is expected to hand out sops for various sections. The session ending on April 6, would have 21 sittings.
