Bodies of three of the 24 students, who drowned in the river Beas at Mandi in Himachal Pradesh last evening, have been recovered by the rescue teams.

Another body is said to be visible but far off. They were part of the group of students from Hyderabad based VNR Vigyan Jyoti Institute of Engineering and Technology. The Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has reached the spot.
