Howrah-Rajdhani Express engine derails in Hooghly in WB

In West Bengal, the engine of the down Howrah-Rajdhani Express derailed near Baruipara Station in Hooghly district this morning. According to Railway sources, there is no report of any death or injury. Train services on Howarah-Burdwan Cord line have been disrupted due to the derailment. Works are on to repair the damaged rail track. A special train has reached the spot to bring the stranded passengers to their destinations. Railways have ordered an enquiry into the incident. Senior Railway officials are camping at the spot. A senior officer of the Eastern Railway told our Kolkata Correspondent that the possibility of sabotage is not being ruled out as about 300 pinhole clips have been recovered along the rail track.
