Howrah-Rajdhani Express derails in Hooghly in WB

In West Bengal, two bogies of the down Howrah-Rajdhani Express derailed near Baruipara Station in Hooghly district this morning. According to Railway sources, there is no report of any death or injury. Train services in Howarah-Burdwan Cord line have been disrupted due to the derailment. Works are on to repair the damaged rail track. A special train has been sent to the spot to bring the stranded passengers to their destination. Railways have ordered an enquiry into the incident. Senior Railway officials are camping at the spot.
