Union Minister of State for Rural Development Sudarshan Bhagat today reiterated the Government's commitment in fulfilling 'Housing for all by 2022'. The Minister said this while interacting with senior officials of the Government of Mizoram in Aizawl today. The Union Minister said that the present IAY scheme will be renamed as Prime Minister Awas Yojana and housing for all BLP card holders will be fulfilled by 2022. <br/><br/>In the meeting, the state officials briefed the Union Minister about the progress of various centrally sponsored schemes being implemented by the state government. The state officials also highlighted the problems of fund being faced by the state government due to drastic decrease of funding from the centre in recent years. To this, the Minister assured that fund will not be a problem in implementing welfare and development schemes.
