<span style="color: #222222;">Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that the Swachh Bharat Mission is the most important mission which has improved better hygiene and standards of cleanliness. <br />''<br />''Speaking at the launch &nbsp;of 'Safaimitra Suraksha Challenge' on the occasion of World Toilet Day, Mr Puri said that the mission has succeeded because of the fact that it has become the mission of the people through jan andolan. <br />''<br />''He said, we have succeeded in meeting the physical target of construction of 66.56 lakh individual household toilets and 6.24 lakh community toilets which was more than the targets originally planned. Mr Puri said that already 1319 cities are declared Open Defecation Free Plus and 489 cities are ODF Plus Plus.&nbsp; <br />''<br />''He said, his Ministry is consistently focussing on the safety and &nbsp;well being of &nbsp;sanitation workers. Mr Puri also launched the IEC collaterals for dissemination to States" at the 'Safaimitra Suraksha Challenge' event.</span><br />
