The Rajasthan Government has stopped the discretionary quota of the Ministers in allotment of houses of the Housing Board. The decision was taken in a meeting of State Cabinet headed by Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot at Jaipur on Wednesday. There was one per cent quota of Ministers in allotment of these houses. The Cabinet also decided to provide land to charitable and social trusts on concessional rate. But the decision of such allotment would be taken only by the Cabinet in future.
