Several countries including US, UK and Germany have expelled Syria's envoys over the carnage at Houla in Syria in which 108 people including 34 children were killed.
The UN Special envoy Kofi Apeace envoy Kofi Annan met President Bashar al-Assad and told that Syria had reached a tipping point and he must act now to end the bloodshed in the country.
Arab foreign ministers are meeting in Doha on Saturday to discuss the situation and Annan will be there.
Outraged over the massacre in Houla village of Homs province, international pressure is mounting on Syria. In an apparently co-ordinated move, several western nations expelled Syrian Ambassadors from their countries.
US, France, Britain, Canada, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Bulgaria, Switzerland and Australia asked Syrian envoys to leave their countries within hours or days.
The visiting UN Special envoy Kofi Annan told Syrian President Bashar Al Assad to take bold steps now to end the violence in the country. He said the Syrian Government and all Government backed militias should stop all military operations.
He also urged the armed opposition to cease acts of violence.The Syrian Television quoting President Assad said that the success of six point peace plan depends on the end of terrorist acts and those who support them.
