Hot weather continues unabated in Delhi

<br/>A day after the maximum temperature broke a five-year record in the national capital, Delhi continues to bear the brunt of the heat and woke up to an unusually hot morning on Tuesday.<br/><br/>Making the night and even early morning hot, the minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, six degrees above normal for this time of the season. This is a significant increase from Monday's minimum temperature of 19.5 degrees.<br/><br/>Breaking a five-year record, the mercury touched 39.2 degrees mark yesterday, seven degrees above normal for the day.<br/>According to the Met office, the maximum temperature in the next 24 hours is likely to be around 41 degrees, making the month of March unusually hot this year.
