It was yet another hot morning for Delhiites with the mercury remaining above normal level and high humidity adding to their discomfort. The minimum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degree celsius, five notches above normal while the maximum yesterday settled at 41.2 degree celsius, two degree bove normal. Today's humidity oscillated between 42 and 77 per cent, leaving Delhiites sweating.It has been an extended summer for Delhiites as the southwest monsoon missed its date with the capital. The normal onset for monsoon in the city is 29th of June. The monsoon is now likely to hit the capital by this weekend and extend till the beginning of next week.The MeT office has predicted that the city will have a partly cloudy sky during the day and temperature wouldcome down from today onwards. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 39 and 28 degree celsius.
