The Italian hostage, Claudio Colangelo, who was released on Sunday, handed over to the Italian Consulate General at Bhubaneswar.

He was released by the Maoist in the presence of median persons at Ramnabadi near Kandhamal of Ganjam district. Earlier, he was kept in the government guest house at Soroda in Ganjam district after releasing.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik has appealed Maoist to resume peace talk to release the another Italian tourist and BJD MLA Jhina Hikaka.
