Hostage crisis: Govt ready for dialogue with Maoists, says Patnaik

Chief minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik has said the negotiators of the state government are ready for dialogue with the Maoists for the secure release of the abducted MLA Jhina Hikaka. He urged Maoist to announce the names of their negotiators quickly so that the process of dialogue could start immediately.

He said the state government is examining the demand notes sent by the Andhra Odisha Zone Special Committee Maoist for the secure release of the Laxmipur BJD MLA Jhina Hikaka.

Meanwhile, the discussion with the government interlocutors and maoist negotiators are in progress for release of the abducted Italian national Mr. Paulo Bosusco.

Two different group of CPI Maoist are responsible for the hostage crisis. The Andhra Odisha Zone Special Committee Maoist claimed to have abducted the MLA while the two Italian hostage crises has been engineered by the Bengal – Odisha division Maoist.
