Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of State for Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju said, the Hornbill festival has become a symbol of the Nagas and the North East India. <br />'' <br />'' The Union Minister was addressing the 7th day of the Hornbill Festival during the 'Cultural Connect' at Kisama in Nagaland this morning. He said, the Hornbill festival is not only a celebration of a festival but it depicts the spirit of the rich cultural heritage of the Naga people. <br />'' <br />'' The Union Minister said the festival binds people together from across the countries. Emphasizing on the need to promote adventurous activities, besides sports, Mr Rijiju said his Ministry will take up the issue, so that youths can be engaged in various activities to promote their lives. <br />'' <br />'' The Minister further said, Nagaland has the potential to become one of the hubs of adventure activities. <br />'' <br />'' Stating that Nagas have unique traditional sports such as Naga Wrestling, Mr Rijiju said his Ministry will identify some of the indigenous games of Nagaland and funds will be given to promote these games. The Union Minister also extended Christmas and New year greetings to the people of Nagaland. <br />''
