The Centre Government is hopeful that all pending issues related to goods and services tax, GST, will be sorted out soon and the GST will be implemented by first of July this year. <br/><br/>Talking to All India Radio in an interview Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa said that pending issues are mainly procedural which will be discussed in next GST council meeting. <br/><br/>Talking about Budget, presented by Finance Minster Arun Jaitley yesterday Mr Lavasa said, that the Budget was based on three themes which are transforming the Economy, energising the population and cleaning the system. He said in the Budget is people oriented as Tax relief has been given to the large number of tax payers and ninety six percent of micro small and medium enterprises.
