The Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mr Ajay Maken today took serious note of the reported incidents of match fixing in cricket. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr Maken said the match fixing is not only confined to cricket but also in other sport events in the country. He expressed the hope that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will go into the root cause of the match fixing problems and take suitable action against those involved.
