Hooper refutes Comptroller and Auditor General's interim report

The Common Wealth Games Federation CEO Mike Hooper today refuted the Comptroller and Auditor General's interim report indicting the CGF top bosses Mike Fennel and Hooper himself besides the Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi. Speaking to the media persons in New Delhi this evening, Mr. Hooper said that the firm named Fast Track was recommended solely on the basis of its impeccable track record and that he stands by the CGF decision to this effect. However, Hooper said it was for the Organising Committee to see that procurement rules were followed properly in selecting the firm as the consultant for broadcast rights.
