Hooda launches Rs 5,000 crore

infrastructure development programme<br/> Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda accompanied by Assembly speaker Harmohinder Singh Chatha launched second phase of the Rajiv Gandhi Bridges and Roads Infrastructure Development programme involving an investment of 5000 crore rupees today at Chandigarh.<br/> Mr Hooda also released a PWD code of the state on this occassion. With his release, Haryana has become the first state in the country which has its own PWD code .Whereas other states in the country are following the PWD code released in 1910 during the British rule. Greeting the people on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti Mr Hooda said that under this development programme, the department will not only stress on quality assurance and transparency but also bring in the concept of citizen monitoring.
