Bhupinder Singh Hooda has taken over as Chief Minister of Haryana for a second successive term. 62-year old Hooda was administered the oath of office and secrecy by the Governor Mr Jagannath Pahadia at the Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh on Sunday. <br/> <br/>No other minister was sworn-in along with Mr Hooda who is expected to constitute his Council of Ministers after he proves his majority. The State Governor has asked Mr Hooda to prove his majority on the floor of the Assembly within a week.<br/> <br/>In Arunachal Pradesh, Dorjee Khandu has also taken over as Chief Minister for the second consecutive term. Mr. Khandu is leaving for Delhi on Monday to discuss the expansion of his cabinet with the Party high command. <br/> <br/>In Maharashra, the newly-elected NCP legislators will meet in Mumbai on Monday to decide their leader, who will be the Deputy Chief Minister.<br/> <br/>A meeting of Shiv Sena legislators will also be held at the party's headquarters in Mumbai on Monday to decide the Party's leader in legislature. <br/> <br/>However, the leader of opposition will be from BJP, which has 46 seats, 2 more than 44 of Shiv Sena.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, the swearing-in ceremony of chief minister Ashok Chavan is likely to take place after Tuesday.<br/><br/>
