Hooda conducts aerial survey and review flood situation

<br/>Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda today took the aerial survey of Ambala and Kurukshetra district and reviewed the flood situation. Chief Minister has instructed official machinery to keep close watch on situation and speed up the rescue operations. The Official machinary has been fully mobilised and as per information received from Engineer in chief of Haryana Public works department, Mr Mahesh Kumar, National, State Highways and major district roads are functional. He said that as per state Government directions the department officials have been put on alert. <br/><br/>The National Disaster team has reached Kurukshetra to help the rescue operations. Haryana Chief Secretary Mrs Urvashi Gulati said that she is in constant touch with Punjab Chief secretary. so as to expedite the relief operation and save life and property. Financial Commissioner and Principle Secretary Irrigation, Mr S. S. Dhillonb has reached Ambala to expedite the rescue and relief operation.Director General Police Mr R. S. Dalal has urged the people not to travel in heavy vehicles on Chandigarh-Ambala National Highway.
