<br/>In Andhra Pradesh, the death toll due to consumption of cheap liquor rose to 14 in East Godavari district by Wednesday morning. District police said all those who fell ill after drinking the hooch have been shifted to Kakinada General Hospital from different hospitals in Amalapuram.<br/><br/>Nearly 60 persons from Amalapuram and Ambajipet and surrounding places have been admitted in various hospitals in the district on Tuesday after they fell ill on consuming cheap liquor.<br/><br/>The state administration has estimated that about 150-200 persons might have consumed illicit liquor in the last two days in different places.<br/><br/>In this connection, district Police have arrested one person who allegedly responsible for mixing diazepam tablets in black jaggery wash to give more affect on the consumers.
