The Home Secretary Mr. R.K. Singh today reviewed the relief camps setup in riot hit area’s of Assam along with the state Director General of Police and Principal Home Secretary. He reviewed the Health Centre, Water Supply, Sanitation and Safety and Security of the camps.

Ministry of Home Spokesperson told All India Radio that the number of relief camp have gone down from 340 to 218 as the people were returning to their homes. He further added that the number of people living in these camps have come down to 2.3 lakhs.
