Union Home Secretary GK Pillai has rushed to Imphal to make on the spot assessment of the present standoff between the Manipur government and NSCN(IM) General Secretary T. Muivah on his proposed visit to Manipur. The Naga rebel leader has been camping at Vishema village on Nagaland-Manipur border for the last one week on his way to his native village in Ukhrul district of Manipur.<br/>AIR correspondent reports that Manipur government has deployed additional forces at Maogate to prevent Muiva's entry under the pretext of serious threat to peace and tranquility in the state. <br/>
