Home Ministry has declared suspension of DANICS officers by Delhi government as illegal. An official said that the decision has been taken by Home Ministry after receiving reference from the Lieutenant governor of Delhi.<br/><br/>AAP government yesterday suspended two senior civil service officers of the Home Department for refusing to sign on a Cabinet decision file. The two suspended officers are Yashpal Garg, special secretary (Prosecution), and Subhash Chandra, special secretary (Prisons).<br/><br/>Following their suspension around 200 Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service (DANICS) cadre officers have threatened to go on mass leave today in solidarity. Supporting the DANICS Officers' Association , IAS Officers have also threatened to go on a half-day leave today. There are around 70 IAS officers working in different departments of the national capital. <br/><br/>Reacting to the suspension of two DANICS suspension by Delhi government, BJP said conflict between bureaucracy and elected representatives is not right. Talking to media in New Delhi, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said AAP government is resorting to confrontational approach.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Delhi Home Minister Satyendra Jain said officers should have gone to the Chief Minister and not the Lieutenant Governor if they had any grievance.
