In Bihar, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram will lay foundation stone of an integrated checkpost in the Indo-Nepal border town of Raxaul of the state this afternoon. This is aimed at boosting trade and commerce between India and Nepal. This is the second integrated chekpost after Atari which is being constructed along Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab. Construction of the checkpost at Raxaul will be completed by June next year. <br/>AIR Patna correspondent reports that this checkpost will also be helpful to keep strict vigil on smugglers and check movement of Maoists, After constructing of this ultra modern checkpost the freight and passengers clearances all will be done all under one roof. Raxul Checkpost will be equipped with high tech security gadgets and other instruments to facilitate trade and immigration. There would be dedicated passengers and cargo terminal at the the checkpost besides separate customs and immigration facility. There would also be modern financial services like banks and foreign exchange cell at the checkpost. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>
