The Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde is visiting Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab from today to review the security situation in forward areas along the Indo-Pakistan border, including Kargil. This will be his first visit to the two border states as Home Minister. During his two-day visit, the Home Minister will inspect forward border posts in Leh, Kargil and Attari-Wagah and interact with jawans and officers.
