Home Minister Rajnath Singh patted Delhi Police for its success in resolving crime cases

Home Minister Rajnath Singh today patted Delhi Police for its success in resolving cases of crime. Responding to questions in the Rajya Sabha, he said Delhi Police has resolved 76 per cent cases of heinous crimes. It also resolved 25 per cent cases of non-heinous crimes. He said all over the world, the success rate of solving the non-heinous crime is the same.<br/><br/>Earlier, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Hansraj Gangaram Ahir told the questioner that Delhi Police has taken several concrete measures to check the incidents against women. They include dynamic identification of crime-prone areas, deployment of police resources including pickets, foot patrolling, PCR vans and emergency response vehicles.
