Home Minister P. Chidambaram has appreciated the Delhi Police for making foolproof security arrangements for the Commonwealth Games. In a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner Y. S. Dadwal, he said, but for these arrangements the Commonwealth Games would not have been a success as they turned out to be. He specially complimented the Commanders at the Games venues, training venues and games villages. Chidambaram said that he is separately writing to these Commanders.
