The government today said, it cannot rule out appointment of Governors in some states before Budget Session of Parliament.

Replying to a media query in New Delhi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that a concrete situation on this matter will emerge only after three to four days. He also said that he is not in a position to comment on whether Goa and West Bengal Governors will continue.

The Governors of Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh have already resigned and sources said some others may follow them.
