<span style="color: #222222;">Home Minister Amit Shah has said that India is still fighting the battle with COVID 19 and the applicable lockdown restrictions and national directives should be followed scrupulously. While reviewing the situation with senior officers of the Home Ministry yesterday, he directed officials to discuss the relaxations in lockdown restrictions, applicable from tomorrow with state governments. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that while certain activities are being permitted in areas which do not fall within hotspots, clusters or containment zones, due caution has to be exercised to ensure that only genuine exemptions and relaxations are given.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Shah said certain economic activities have been permitted in rural areas to give boost to rural economy. He said DMs and DCs should make arrangements to transfer labourers to their place of work within the State in collaboration with industries. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Home Minister said states should give attention to operationalize big industrial units, industrial estates and industrial complexes, especially where the labourers can be accommodated within the complex. Such activities can help triggering economic revival, while ensuring that the labourers are provided gainful employment.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said NDA government is committed to protect the rights of every section of society in these difficult times. He said DMs and DCs should also explore the possibility of providing labourers employment through agriculture as well as MGNREGA activities. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Shah added that states should take special care to ensure that each medical team is provided security now that community-based testing is being taken up through medical teams. He added that patrolling in rural areas should be increased to monitor compliance with national directives to fight COVID-19. </span><br />''
