Home Minister Amit Shah asks security forces to show zero tolerance towards terrorists

Union Home Minister Amit Shah took stock of the overall law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir at a high-level meeting of Unified Command Headquarters on the second day of his tour to Srinagar. He also reviewed arrangements related to upcoming 46 day Amarnath Yatra beginning on 1st July.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Shah also took a detailed review of various development schemes and projects in the State.<br />'' <br />'' Later, addressing a press conference, Special Secretary Internal Security A P Maheshwari said that the Home Minister stressed on zero tolerance towards terrorism and terrorists.<br />''          <br />'' Governor Satya Pal Malik, Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, state administration officials and top officials of all the security and intelligence agencies also attended the meeting. He also met delegations of people and recently elected Sarpanches.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier in the morning, Mr. Shah visited the residence of martyred Inspector Arshad Khan in uptown Karan Nagar area of Srinagar and offered condolences to the bereaved family. <br />''
