The Holy festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated across the country today. It is a festival that celebrates the birthday of Lord Rama and falls on the ninth day of Navratri. President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people on Rama Navami. <br/>' <br/><br/>In his message, President Mukherjee said, Lord Rama was an embodiment of great virtues and highest values. He said, on this day, every one should re-dedicate themselves to the progress and prosperity of the nation. The Vice-President said, may the virtuous life of Lord Rama inspire everyone to uphold his noble ideals and high moral values.
