The Home Minister of Karnataka Dr. V S Acharya expressed hope that Hogenical issue can be resolved through dialogue between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. <br/><br/>Speaking to the media persons in Bangalore today, he said, the Chief Secretaries of both the States will meet shortly to resolve the dispute that has arisen between the two states. <br/><br/>Thereafter, he said, the Chief Ministers will meet to mutually resolve the dispute. When Tamil Nadu is opposing Karnataka’s proposal to set up Hydel power project in Shivanasamudra, Karnataka has contention that drinking water project taken up by Tamilnadu is situated in a region embroiled in border dispute. <br/><br/>Karnataka has demanded survey of border between the two states before the drinking water project is taken up by Tamil Nadu.
