Both the Indian Men's and Women's teams advanced into the third round of the Hockey World League, after they registered superb victories in their fifth and final round-robin matches of the Hockey World League Round-2 yesterday. In the matches played at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi, while Indian Men defeated Bangladesh 5-1, Indian Eves defeated Russia, 1-0.It was an emphatic finish for the Indian men, who won all their 5 matches. However, the Indian Women ended winners 4 times in the 5 matches played.The third round of the Hockey World League, a qualifying tournament for next year's FIH World Cup, will be played in the Netherlands in June.
