New Zealand beat India 3-1 in the Hockey World League Final in New Delhi last night. In the Pool A match, New Zealand scored three field goals – one in the first half and two after the change of ends, to register their first win in the eight-team event. This was India's second straight defeat after the hosts lost their opener to England 0-2 .
